We offer a few options for walking with others in a life of discipleship. Discipleship is incredibly important to our church. We desire to know Christ in personal discipleship with Him. We also desire to follow in His footsteps with His presence in a life discipling others.
NEW BELIEVER BOOK DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
The intention of this list is to provide a starter resource for a new believer to grow in knowledge of subjects as the begin to follow Jesus. The best resource is Scripture, but it is worth noting God gives us teachers. The greatest teacher is God Himself, Jesus Christ, who came and ministered as a Rabbi, or teacher, to equip men to make disciples who will also be disciple makers. Unfortunately, you may find yourself without someone to disciple you. This list is for you. It is not every great book, and arguably not the greatest books, on each subject. But it will provide a starting point to study the Word through teachers who recorded their word for future generations in a pattern similar to God (not on the same level of authority though).
It is also for those who desire to disciple others and can commit to reading through books and talking with someone (or a few “someones”!). Feel free to adapt this list as needed. Check back from time to time. We plan to update this list. It is tailored to serve the people of Near North, so take that into account. We want it to speak clearly to us and some choices fit our demographic better than other books.

EVANGELISM TRAINING AND METHODS
This book is intended as a supplement to work through in a six session small group setting. It is a compilation of resources that give groups different options in specific ways to share their faith with others. Brother Mike shares some additional thoughts on where he has experienced the best success with each one. The first chapter is an informal summary of what evangelism is and a few explanations of the gospel in each of its parts. It was initially written to be given to each of the men in the NNCC Men's Bible Study group. Check back for future revisions.

TRUST ISSUES
Trust Issues is a series of articles provided to the prayer and financial partners of the work at NNCC. Recent surveys show a disconnect in identity and doctrinal beliefs. There are seven categories of lies American Evangelical Christians (self-identified) believe that Brother Mike sets out to inform with biblical doctrine. The ultimate goal is to glorify God by making the disciples through the equipping of the Word of God. Check back for future revisions and additions.
